Given its ongoing social and community work, its management and administration model, AMIA is one of the most important social organizations in Argentina.
Under the motto “A Great Community Building a Great Society”, the institution fosters and implements solidarity initiatives and programs on social service, education, employment generation, corporate social responsibility, integration of the disabled, advocacy of seniors’ rights and promotion of art and culture, among others.
Designed with an interdisciplinary approach based on the advocacy of and respect for social rights, the social inclusion projects underway are built on the values that identify the institution: “Life. Continuity. Equality. Solidarity. Respect for diversity. Memory and justice.”
Given the number of members, AMIA is the largest institution of the Jewish community in Argentina.
