New School Year for Schools within the Jewish Network

With the presence of AMIA’s representatives in the opening ceremonies the school year formally started in different institutions of the Network of Jewish Schools.

On February 28th an opening ceremony was carried out jointly with the authorities of the Buenos Aires City Government in the Bami Marc Chagall School, located in the neighborhood of Monte Castro. Eng. Mauricio Macri,  Head of Government of Buenos Aires City; the minister of Education, Esteban Bullrich and the Ambassador of  the State of Israel in Argentina, Daniel Gazit were present in the act.

President Guillermo Borger, vicepresident Angel Barman, Assistant Secretary Ralph Thomas Saieg and Batia Nemirovsky, General Director of the Board of Jewish Education in Argentina were present in representation of AMIA.

Julio Schlosser, Secretary General of the institution was present in the opening ceremonies in the Sholem Aleijem School and Beth College.

We hope that this year will bring us new learning and living experiences. We wish you all a good school year 2011.
