Chief Rabbinate
The Chief Rabbinate of the Republic of Argentina, the Jewish Community of Buenos Aires, and the Federation of Jewish Communities in Argentina was founded in 1941.
Its aim is to watch for the observance in community life of the laws pertaining religious issues, according to what the Torah and the Halajah (Jewish Law) mandate. It offers advice and information on religious topics of all sorts, and document certifications for several procedures.
