Jewish Communities

AMIA presides and manages the Vaad Hakehilot –Federation of Jewish Communities in Argentina – which is comprised of 54 communities located in the different provinces, and where around 12 thousand families live. 

Vaad Hakehilot is the core that centralizes and coordinates the work with the interior of the country towards the community strengthening and continuity.

AMIA is continuously and directly in contact with the communities, fostering the bonds and links among them, and functioning as a representative and speaker before other instances. It also carries out advisory tasks, guiding through the implementation of operational strategies for the development of educational, welfare, cultural and community programs.
