Culture

AMIA’s cultural activities date back to 1945. At present, the Department is a source in its area of expertise, and it passes on the Jewish culture and the millennial traditions on a continuous basis. Through these activities, AMIA promotes the participation of the whole community and creates a meeting and interaction instance with the society as a whole.

Activities are organized at the head office of AMIA, as well as at other institutions of the Capital city and its outskirts, and the rest of the provinces in Argentina. The offer ranges from concerts and ballet, to theatre, conferences, literature presentations, cinema club, recitals, festivals, workshops and courses. Also, the Department of Culture is in charge of the editing, publishing and presentation of books through its own publishing group, Editorial Milá.
